Contemporary, sleek and
state-of-the-art are just a few ways to describe TechnoGym's line of
wellness equipment. Throw "exciting" into the adjective mix and you
have TechnoGym's latest achievement in exercise technology. The new
EXCITE line features the following innovative features: |
|
|
|
Multi-SENSORIAL
Design
- SIGHT: "Aesthetically pleasing" fitness equipment
that provides
Goal
Oriented Display -- an analogue indicator that enables the
user and trainer control the development of the training session.
- TOUCH: A long-life balance deck with a
cushioned deck and elastic surface absorbs impact and returns the
thrust of each step; Bioseats provide ergonomically correct
posture and comfort. The equipment in the EXCITE range is designed to
replicate the body's natural movement. The contact surfaces are
comfortable and ergonomic, the materials are innovative and pleasing to
the touch, and the forms are fashioned to follow the user's movement;
Heart Rate Monitoring
with a choice of a telemetric band for continuous interactive heart rate
control or hand sensor for quick heart rate feedback; Fast Track Control
allows the user to control speed and gradient
manually by the use of two
joysticks.
- SMELL: Breezer integrated fan
generates a fresh breeze during training; Wellness Fragrance
filters containing your preferred aroma fit into the
fan for a pleasing breeze.
- SOUND:
Wellness TV is an onboard entertainment system which allows the
user to watch the TV or listen to the radio while training (On "E" models
only);
Smooth Motion -- because of the use of low-noise equipment, sound
levels are reduced. The Bike and Recline belt transmission system makes the movement particularly smooth and quiet.
|
 |
 |
|
|
|
Program Training
- TESTS:
Fitness tests shows your aerobic
capacity (V02 Max) and the optimum level of difficulty for training
automatically; Maximal tests includes a warm-up
phase to ensure the ideal load increases according to the level of fitness
of the person being tested with fully automatic protocols.

a development of the Constant Pulse Rate
training based on the GOAL TRAINING philosophy. You can program a
CPR training session on the basis of time, distance, and calorie
consumption.
- OWN ZONE:
After a brief warm-up phase the program
identifies the optimum target pulse rate for the user
and delivers a constant pulse rate training session.
- WEIGHT LOSS:
Enables users to optimize calorie
consumption in the time available by calculating the ideal intensity of
training according to the level of fitness of the user and the length of
time they want to exercise.
- PROFILES: 6 preset programs, each available at 12
different levels of difficulty.
|
 |
 |
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Plug & Play System
Allows users to save their favorite training program
directly from the machine onto their Wellness System Key. The
key-shaped microchip carries information about each user's
workout. As each exercise machine is used, the user inserts the Key into a
console attached to the machine which recognizes the user and adjusts the
machine to his or her pre-set requirements, as well as gives the user any
instructions needed.
Data on the user's workout
is automatically stored on the Wellness Key.
*(See below for more information on the Wellness System.) |
 |
|
|
|
SELECTION
WEIGHT EQUIPMENT
Complement
the sleek lines of your EXCITE treadmill, bikes or elliptical trainer with
TechnoGym's line of strength equipment. The equipment is relatively
small, and non-intimidating to
the user. Attention has been paid to every detail. Its
attractive, rounded shape is full of content: a frame with an
elliptical section is more rigid than one with a traditional
square or rectangular section
of the
same dimensions. It has a smooth
and captivating shape, easy to touch and to admire. The overall
effect creates a unique impression, one that will help increase the
visual appeal to all users. The weight stack column is bow shaped, in
perfect harmony
with the elliptical section of the frame. The
top of the column and the bar covers are in a soft material that is smooth
and
agreeable to touch. The seats are
ergonomically
designed and very comfortable.

NeuroCom Balance Systems
The Smart EquiTest® from NeuroCom
Objectively evaluates balance and postural
stability under dynamic test conditions to reflect the challenges of daily life
and provides training in a dynamic environment with visual biofeedback.
The standardized protocols enable the clinician to systematically manipulates
somatosensory and visual information, and enhances the ability to diagnose and
treat problems of imbalance and postural instability, especially for patients
who previously proved difficult to diagnose.
Sensory Organization Test (SOT) -
Identifies sensory dysfunction and
reliance on a sense providing inaccurate orientation information.
Motor Control Test (MCT) -
Provides evidence of a CNS disorder
and/or documents the functional impact of musculoskeletal injury/disability.
Adaptation Test (ADT) -
Assesses a patient’s ability to
adapt to unstable surface conditions.
These are the core battery of tests recognized as
Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP),
the gold standard for diagnosing the functional impairments underlying balance
disorders.
Dynamic Training Protocols:
Interactive, functional training
exercises uses visual biofeedback, and sensitive, real-time monitoring of
movement motivating patients to achieve greater balance control faster.
Proprioceptive/sensorimotor training is enhanced as the clinician sets the
movement of the support surface and/or visual surround.

pivot motion in the steps makes it comfortable and easy for patients to exercise
while seated. Vary the height of the patient’s seated position to change weight
bearing percentage. Steps can lock level or pivot during full weight bearing,
which is great for lower extremity and back exercise, motor skill retraining and
joint stabilization. Knee and hip flexion are controlled with fixed step height
limits. Step return springs reduce the force required to initiate the step
action. Exercise work rates can begin as low as 1.6 METs and 30 Watts at 10
steps/minute to reach as high as 31 METS and 670 Watts at 200 steps/minute.
• Low initial starting force of 15 lbs.
